I'm doing another review for continuity purposes. For my birthday I wanted another chocolate cream pie because the first one was so good. The one for my birthday was just as delicious! So delicious they deserve another 5 star review. You can be sure that this shop gives great things, and continue to do so each time you visit! I love the consistency. I popped in this bake shop to get a quick bite and was pleased. I got the caramel pecan cheesecake and it was very light and not overly sweet. The servers were nice and the seating area was clean. I will definitely stop by again the next time I'm in the area.
Literally the best cake pops and pastries we've ever had!! The place is super cute and the staff is so welcoming and kind! Definitely a MUST DO when visiting Napa!!
WOW FACTOR? Yes. You walk into a lovely shop and you can see back into a well-equipped kitchen. HAVE AGAIN: Lemon meringue pie: delicious. Apricot bar: delicous. Pecan bar: delicious. Many other delicious-looking items. NOT HAVE AGAIN: The half chocolate-coated heart-shaped shortbread cookie was pretty good (with the chocolate) but the uncoated shortbread was not very good.
Considering Sweetie Pies is one of my favorite bakeries in Napa, I'm surprised I haven't written a Yelp review about it yet. Better late than never! Sweetie Pies baked our wedding cake several years ago, which was a big hit with our guests. We also love coming here for the delicious cookies and, more recently, the individual-sized cheesecakes. I once bought three cheesecakes of different flavors to make a sampler for my friends. The flavors were original NY cheesecake, Oreo and salted caramel apple pecan (seasonal). All were delicious but the seasonal flavor was the unanimous favorite. We love, love, love this place. If you're downtown, make sure to stop by. There's a parking lot and an adjacent parking garage, which makes finding a spot easy.
I love this darling little bakery! I come to pick up mini personal sized cakes + cheesecakes which is awesome. Sometimes a huge cake can be a lot for people so I like to pick out 1-3 different flavors for birthdays. This last time I picked out a mini red velvet cake + Oreo cheesecake. Both were so so good, my partner loved them! The ladies here are so sweet which just makes my visit to this bakery that much better. They have tons of flavors for cakes, you can't go wrong with this place!
Looking for a cute, simple yet filling brunch/ lunch spot? Well, you need to check out Sweetie Pies! They have been serving Napa for more than 20+ years and don't plan on stopping now. They are located in the Napa River Inn area. There is plenty of parking. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Besides their brunch/ lunch menu, they also offer baked goods, coffee and tea. My fiancé and Yelp Elite, Dario O. and I ordered their Zucchini Muffin (it was a day old, 50% off, but still moist and delicious!!!), Artisanal Lox and Bagel, and their Veggie Quiche (I may have gotten this name wrong). Each item we ordered was exceptional and inexpensive. I was already full after eating half of the Zucchini Muffin and one hand of the Lox and Bagel. I love how generous they are with the Lox on the Bagel. The toppings added extra flavor and more texture. I don't think I've ever had a Quiche before, but wow, Sweetie Pies Quick was so fluffy, flaky and savory! I should have bought one to take home!! I ordered a hot mocha which warmed me up just right. Overall, I love it here and would def be back to try more of their eats! So yes, I recommend you check this place out when visiting Napa! Tell them Rachel sent ya! ;)
LOVE their Lemon Bar! Sweetie Pies is a cute little bakery in Napa. We stopped in for dessert after lunch at a nearby restaurant. Others in my party enjoyed what they ordered like the crème brûlée. Service is satisfactory. No complaints from me.
I tried this place multiple times while staying at the Napa River Inn and enjoyed each time. It shares a building with the inn which is quite historic. It was easy to get to and I loved reading about the history of the room as well. One morning I had a delicious breakfast burrito. It was very tasty and huge. I can usually put down a very hearty breakfast and I was unable to finish it. It was so good I didn't want to give up but had to. Another morning I had a chocolate croissant and a delicious latte. I don't think you can go wrong with either sweet or savory here - it's all good. Each morning the girls behind the counter were very welcoming and patient as we took our time browsing the menu and the multiple dessert options displayed. If you are looking for a great coffee or breakfast - this would be a great option!
